For my semester project I had to recreated a book cover. I used my mother's hand and the black background was my sister's sweatshirt.
f/2.8-I shot the photo at 2.8 because I wanted only the closest finger nail to be in focus.
1/250-My shutter speed was set at 250th of a second because I was using flash.
ISO 400-Just happened because of my other settings.

I took these photos in the darkroom with christmas lights. They were ideas that simply popped into my head and they just happened. I personally think they turned out pretty well considering the stupid tripod kept moving randomly. I had to change the aperture a lot because on ruth's photo I didn't want to be able to see all of her face and her wrist was very hard to properly exposed because there were so many christmas lights under neath her. Blah, it's still over exposed. =[ My cheer bow photo I was extremely happy with because I didn't have to make that many changes to the camera. It turned out exactly how I had planned in my head.

I was teaching myself how to use strobes and this is what I came up with.I found out it was very very very very hard to do and I most likely looked like a lost puppy when I as trying to figure it out. So the fact the photo was exposed properly is amazing.

I entered these photos into the still life category for ATPI. I took theses photos in the historic bath house in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I really like the natural lighting from the windows. I like the photos better in black and white because the edges standout more.

Pretty Little Girl

I took these photos of my cousin Ella. My family and I went to Hot Springs the day of homecoming we were touring the bath houses. Ella was telling my aunt that she saw a meow her faced was too cute so I started taking photos well snap shots. I think they turned out okay for snap shots.

I took these photos during class today.
I really wanted a bumble bee photo
because I wanted to try and capture
motion of something small. I don't think
these photos are the best but I almost
captured what I wanted. I'm excited
how they turned out. I know they could
be better and/or more like how I pic-
tured in my head how they should look.
Ooh well...I will try again next class.

The top two photos I took at home before I went to shoot a freshman football game. I love nature and I'm very excited that I captured a butterfly even though it's not completely in focus. The last photo is of a a rose that was given to the homecoming court.I had my classmate Taylor hold the rose why I was experimenting with the 50mm lens.

I took these photos of my sister at her first football game of the season. I was on the ground for the upper picture zooming in on her face to were you can tell she's cheering. The lower picture I was eye level with my sisters stunt group because she is a base and I wanted to catch her expression.

I was shooting my very first football game , the first photo I zoomed in to catch the tackle in action. The second photo I only had Cheyanne in focus. The last photo I was eye level with the players and increased my shutter speed to capture him bursting through the players.
